Summer in the Berkshires is one of my favorite seasons. I love being outside and enjoying all the beauty this region has to offer, whether it be gardening in our company garden, tending to my flowers or taking my beloved dog Cookie for a walk. During this season, I like a simple makeup look, complete with SPF, to protect my skin and enhance my beauty no matter what activity these beautiful days bring. Here’s one of my favorite summer looks:
- Start by applying a pea sized amount of our tinted moisturizer, Dream Tint Tinted Moisturizer, to your face using your fingertips. Dream Tint, is terrific for those who don’t want to wear much but need moisture and some protection. I wear it every day under my PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation.
- For added coverage, apply PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation using the Handi Brush and spritz with your favorite Hydration Spray, mine is POMMISST.
- Our new In Touch Highlighter in Comfort offers just the right amount of glow and color for a beautiful flushed look. For fair skin tones, apply a little to your cheeks using your fingertips. For darker skin tones, apply a little to the top of your cheek bones to highlight them, then apply Connection In Touch Cream Blush to your cheeks using your fingertips.
- For a soft golden look apply the lightest shade of Golden Girl PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple to your brow bone by gently patting it on using the Eye Shader Brush.
- Still using the Eye Shader Brush, gently pat on the golden shade of Golden Girl PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple to your eyelids.
- Using the Crease Brush, apply the copper/brown shade of Golden Girl PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple in your crease and to the outer corner of your eyelid in a “c” shape; blend well.
- Line your top lash line using our new Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner in Brown. Our new Jelly Jars are smooth texture, naturally creating the rich, captivating look of kohl, but without any chemicals or irritants.
- Apply PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner to your lashes. Unlike many products on the market that enhance eye lash growth, PureLash Extender & Conditioner is non-irritating to even the most sensitive eyes and it can be used around the clock. It’s meant to be used as a primer beneath mascara, so not only does it provide conditioning and protective ingredients like algae extracts and panthenol; it provides a thicker base and extends the wear of your mascara.
- Next, apply Espresso Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara to your lashes.
- I love our Lip Fixation because they stay on all day and saturate lips with beautiful, vivid color. For this summer look apply our new shade in Craze, a gorgeous coral stain.
For a simple summer look the most important thing to remember is your SPF, not only
on your face, but on your whole body. Your skin is the largest organ of your body, it is important to protect it and treat it with care.
