It takes a heck of a lot more than a temporary tattoo and a slick of lipbalm to get me party ready, but I’m closely related to a nine-year-old who would think this just about the best sleepover kit she’d ever seen. During the pre-vodka years, this set has most of the ingredients needed for a girls’ night in to remember, with six pretty hair elastics, three sheets of metallic skin transfers and a cute rollerball of lipbalm. Just add onesies, pizza and a Taylor Swift playlist, and leave to marinade until morning. A successful slumber party being the pinnacle of the Year 5 experience, if you buy this for a preteen, Cool Aunt status surely beckons.
