Dior Golden Shock Gold Leaf Effect Top Coat
To my eye, of all the stunning products in Dior’s Golden Shock Christmas collection, the crowning glory must be their gorgeous baublesque nail polishes, considerably more ostentatious than the classy minimalism of their regular design. The range has four beautiful coloured polishes, but the star is surely the Gold Leaf Effect topcoat. Worn alone or over a dark or scarlet nail, the effect is undeniably chic and apt for party season. It’s an easy way to spruce up a manicure, however basic your skill level.
There are a million glittery gold topcoats out there, but it must be rare to receive one so beautiful you’d want to give it a resounding kiss and immediately place it centre stage on your dressing table. It is so ludicrously Christmassy you’d need to take care it doesn’t get mistakenly packed away with the sparkly decorations when it’s all over.
