Hello beautiful people,
Great Sunday its been, I trust you are all rested for the hustle and bustle of a new week. Finally, the Christmas beauty fair held today and I could barely wait for the end of today’s church service so i could hurry to have a good time with other Make-up Artists and also to shop for make-up. Part of what i prayed for in church was for a clear weather so I wont be stuck in the rain and God listened to my request.
The event had a warm feel of Christmas with display of Christmas tress with people donning all manner of Christmas caps and clothes. I was particularly overwhelmed by the turnout of make-up lovers that came even though it was the first Xmas beauty fair ever with the whole idea affording people to shop for products at discounted prices.
For all the wonderful Make-up Artist that took out time to identify themselves and my blog followers I must say I was really humbled and honoured at the show of love , i truly appreciate you guys.Gosh, I felt so much love and warmth all around me .
The highlight of the event was the face chart competition,it was so much fun as Omon (Beauty cook) ,Jide (StOla) Bukky (B.Lavida),Damilola(deeq looks), Nifemi (Niffy Signature), Omosewa (Swansearocks), Tope (Ewabela),Theodore Doranne Beauty), Tomiyin, and my humble self all participated .The seriousness was second to none as all contestants wanted the grand prize from Gifty’s daughter which had in it makeup products worth about N50,000 – Ben Nye Banana powder, Urban Decay eyeshadow primer,beauty factor eyeshadow pallet, samfine shadow etc.
The contestants finally agreed that who ever won the goodie bag would share with the rest of us.Selection was narrowed down to the last 3 by the the screening board which brought it down to doren , myself and st ola who actually travelled all the way from Abuja to participate in the competition , finally the judges made their decision and announced Jide as the winner
