We’re into the business end now, so get fuelled with coffee and prepare yourself for the scrum that is Boots with two shopping days to go. You probably won’t be able to get a delivery to home now (although you might be able to get click and collect), so here’s some emergency gifts that you can pick up on the High Street.
I really liked the Revolution palettes, available from Superdrug, especially the Fortune Favours The Brave eye palette, £9.99, with colours selected by British Beauty Blogger Jane Cunningham and the Blush Queen cheek palette, £6. Both feel like exactly the kind of shimmery treat you should be opening on Christmas Day. Check for special offers in store.
This No7 Eye Definition set, £18, from Boots is great value and would provide lots of things to test out on Boxing Day. Includes mascara, shadow, two eye pencils and two liquid liners.
Benefit (available in some department stores and with a selection at Boots) are starting to run low on gift sets, but if you see this one in store it’s particularly good value – £39.50 (worth over £76).
If you’ve got one of the larger M&S stores with a proper beauty hall, lucky you (and let me know what house prices are like in your area, I may need to move there). REN have some great sets in store, like this Rose Otto duo for £25.90. The Nuxe best seller kit for £14 is also lovely, as is this Stila palette, £30. Happy shopping!
