The perfect multi purpose concealer? Stick a fork in me, I’m done.
I am extremely particular about concealers. They need to be a) yellow-based and b) either able to completely cover a spot or correct and illuminate dark circles. One that does all three is as rare as hen’s teeth. This new Radiant Creamy Concealer by Nars is the holy grail. A triple threat that’s dense enough to cover everything (even my melasma) but delicately textured and light-reflecting enough to get rid of under-eye greyness. It has a lovely wand applicator, meaning no brushes to carry around, collecting fluff in my bag. It blends perfectly with my ring finger until invisible. The colour range spans all ethnicities, starting at the palest white (I wear the pleasingly named Custard). The creamy formula hydrates and moisturises without caking or creasing. Over a tinted moisturiser, it can put your foundation out of work. Over foundation, it’s pure perfection. I’ve worn it every day for weeks and have decided we shall never be parted.
