Perfume can be a very tricky gift to give. If you know someone’s a diehard Chanel No5 fan then it’s easy-peasy (and if you can find their sumptuous new Body Oil in stock anywhere, get it – it’s gorgeous). If you don’t know what their preference is, here’s some ideas which might work for anyone.

At the other end of the price scale, the Travalo is one of the best beauty gadgets ever invented and would work for anyone. A small spray that can be filled and refilled from a favourite scent, it’s a perfect stocking stuffer for £5, here. Available in a selection of colours, so favourites can be colour coded (just me?).
