Bronzer and contour products have found a beloved spot in most of our makeup bags. And for good reason! They help define your best features, balance the face, and add dimension and warmth to your complexion. But, with so many products out there all claiming to do similar things, how do you know which products and shades are right for you? That’s where our global educators come in. They have put together tips on how to find the best bronzer for your skin tone.
If you want to try So-Bronze, here’s a breakdown of the three shades by skin tone. The bronzing powders are primarily matte with a hint of shimmer to help your skin glow. Keep reading to find out which bronzer is your best choice.
For lighter skin tones, try So-Bronze 1. It gives a soft, sun-kissed glow with gentle touches of a golden shimmer for an illuminating effect.
For light-to-medium skin tones, try So-Bronze 2. You can either use the two shades separately for a chiseled cheekbone and strategic highlight, or you can swirl the two shades together for a shimmering bronzed cheek.
For medium-to-dark skin tones, try So-Bronze 3. This rich, soft, matte shade can be used alone or mixed with the shimmering peach shade for a bronzed, beach-y glow.

Here are some application tips that our Global Educators recommend using for different skin tones.
For everyone whose skin tone sits within the range of Fair to Medium-Light, try using a smaller amount of product on your brush for a more diffused look that will balance nicely with your fairer skin tone. We recommend the White Fan Brush for an extra light application. If you use the Blending/Contouring Brush you’ll get a bit more definition but still, have a natural look.
Ladies with a slightly darker skin tone can handle a bit more bronzer without looking too made up. Try using a slightly heavier hand and building the color with the Blending/Contouring Brush. You could also use our Contour Brush for a rich application of color.
