Sam Farmer Toiletries

Ah, the teenage years. A tricky time of trying to assert personal identity through the use of over enthusiastically applied, aggressively scented grooming products. Maybe the confusing fog of painfully pungent antiperspirant sprays and stomach-churning faux-florals is a necessary a rite of passage for the burgeoning teenager, but it seems an apt time for an alternative.

Sam Farmer’s products were created by a proactive father specifically to fill a gap in the market for decent, unisex toiletries for teens, that weren’t slathered in sexist slogans or trying to prematurely sexualise young people. “Bodywashing not Brainwashing” is his agreeable motto. The products are deliberately gentle on the skin and lightly fragranced with a bright citrus scent that should appeal to any gender or generation.

You might not receive more than a subtly grateful grunt of thanks, but you’d be doing a young recipient, and those in sniffing distance, a favour by introducing them to these lovely British-made products.
