British brand Aurelia Probiotic Skincare have teamed up with skin care expert and blogger Caroline Hirons to produce a limited edition of their Cell Repair Night Oil in support of The Eve Appeal, the UK’s leading charity researching gynaecological cancers. They’re hoping to raise £20,000 in support of a ground breaking research programme – FORECEE (4C) – which aims to develop a single test to predict personal risk of developing four women’s cancers and save significantly more women’s lives.

I’m a fan of Aurelia, who have a small, carefully thought through collection of skin care products and a very admirable stance on providing clear information on ingredients.  Cell Repair Night Oil is a lovely, pleasantly scented oil, which does a great job in leaving my skin noticeably plumper and more glowing the next morning without any residual oiliness. I’ve got combination skin, and use it a few times a week as a boost, but if you’ve got dryer skin you could use it every night, and even layer it under your regular moisturiser.

The stats on gynaecological cancers make sobering reading, and research into these diseases is much needed yet poorly funded. If you’d like to support The Eve Appeal by purchasing Cell Repair Night Oil, it’s available from Aurelia’s website here. It’s £45 for 50ml, with a £10 donation to The Eve Appeal.
