Autumn Beauty Tips and a Smoky Eye Tutorial
This is a double video weekend over on theguardian.com. Firstly, there’s a video on how to update your look for autumn. I really wanted to make this my first Guardian video in a while, because this season’s colour palette is one of my favourites in years, all sludgy metallic khaki, cool taupes and greys. The second Guardian video is another first – my first collaborative one! When Bobbi Brown asked me to make some videos with her in the US, I felt honoured and extremely excited. Apart from being at the helm of one of my favourite brands, Bobbi Brown is without question, one of the most celebrated make-up artists in history and I know from previous meetings, a really interesting and inspiring woman. It took me less than a nanosecond to say yes. We had the most fun making this video, on how to create the perfect smoky eye, made all the more enjoyable for me by the fact that someone else was on make-up duty. I just sat there and enjoyed myself. I really hope you you do too. There’s an accompanying smoky eye column to go with the video. I’ll be below it in the comments section to answer any questions.
